Experts make meningitis discovery

Experts at the University of Nottingham say they have made a possible breakthrough in the treatment and prevention of meningitis. A team led by Professor Del Ala-Aldeen has identified a part of the brain that is targeted by the meningococcus bacterium, which causes the illness. Prof Ala-Aldeen said the discovery could lead to better treatment and vaccines to prevent meningitis. But he added it was still early days and more research lay ahead. Fast, fatal disease "This organism has been with us as humans for tens of thousands of years, causing disease and remaining in society, going from one person to another," said Prof Ala-Aldeen, who has been studying meningitis and its causes for 21 years.

Agreement with the experimental plantation in HILLA

An agreement has been concluded with the above plantation and co ordination with directorate of agricultural researches of our ministry of the use of modern techniques including magnetism to process poor quality water and the food solutions to produce vegetables with out soil . the first experiment was executed in the above plantation to know the effect of the magnetically processed solutions on producing cucumbers .hopefully the second experiment will be applied in al-tuwaitha site to understand the effect of these solutions on the production of potatoes.

It has been agreed with the above center to co operate with the agency of water treating tech and exchange of scientific expertise and finalizing researches on anti- desertification and deteriorating of land and also the use of modern tech on processing different quality water and re cycling it to irrigate anti drought and plants. Some of these plants contain high rate of oil ,thus they can be used as substitute for power (bio power)
